Expo is a friendly camp site situated across the road from the main entrance to the circuit, it's a bit smaller than many of the others and sees the same groups of people returning year after year giving it a great sense of community.Part of site is for motor homes. No rules for size of pitch camp anywhere.
During the rest of the year it serves as the paddock for the horse racing, it has rows of sheds with running water and hard standing, they are clean and don't smell if horse, you have to arrive fairly early to secure your place inside the sheds. Being Pitched under the corregated roof sheeting, Keeps you dry.
A German tour operator (grand prix tours) have a fenced of secure camping area in the middle of the site complete with a pop up pub, in the evenings many go to the pub for ale after the security chaps have disappeared.
Showers always a queue 6 deep. Toilets even had queues. All times of day.
It has good access to shops, the legendary bar Jeneanes right across the road and hard standing for camper vans.I forgot to add that they move the entrance round each year so beware and pay attention.
Usually a relaxed place.
Very friendly with mixed nationalities.
Security look for beer when you first arrive, looking for bottles only.
Danes have a beer tent on site. Cheaper than most.
